Production Process:
- Material Selection
High-quality, food-grade platinum-cured silicone (LSR) is carefully selected to ensure it meets FDA, RoHS, and LFGB standards. The material is rigorously tested for biocompatibility, durability, and temperature resistance.
- Mold Design and Tooling
Custom molds are created using advanced techniques like CNC machining and 3D printing, ensuring precision in design and compatibility with specific product requirements. Mold flow analysis optimizes part geometry and reduces defects.
- LSR Injection Molding
The platinum-cured silicone is injected into precisely designed molds under controlled temperature (around 350°F) and pressure. The injection molding process ensures uniform consistency and high-quality production, creating durable, flexible containers.
- Curing & Post-Curing
Once molded, the silicone undergoes a post-curing process at high temperatures to remove any residual volatile substances, enhancing the material’s thermal stability, mechanical properties, and overall strength.
